Poor children in India begin to work very young. Many of them have to work to support their families and some of the families want them to continue their business. Children perform a variety of jobs: some work in factories sew products such as carpets and matches; others work on plantations or home. According to a recent census, done by an agency, there are in India, more than 44 million children working. However, it is very difficult to estimate the actual number of children who are currently employed, because many work without pay, helping their relatives or work for employers who do not provide information for the census. This situation brings great difficulties to the government, aimed at regulating child labor and limited their ability to provide children the freedom they need. The government department for children can have their importance, if it is seen as a contribution to families, through child labor. Many children begin to work quite young, due to economic factors, taking them in order to stop certain social pressures. For example, children whose families do not have enough income to pay school fees, can work to pay them the same, which will give some the opportunity to benefit from a statement, which would, otherwise, completely out their horizons.
